Great learning tool! The tires will outlive 3 children.

I wish we bought this sooner! We have four children and bought it for ages 3 and 4. My son certainly learned to balance without many scraped knees (and without me helping next to him to help). Now he rides his regular bike and his little sister will use KaZAM. The bike is well made and sturdy. It's lightweight, without all the gears and chains of a traditional bike. The platform in the middle is narrow enough that you don't have to put your feet on it when driving. The only reason I didn't give

4-year-old now rides normal bike, so learning is fun

My child turned 4 in October. We gave her this bike for Christmas. She drove it 10 minutes every week when we took the garbage to the curb. At first she mostly walked with him between her legs, especially uphill. She later switched to pushing with one foot. After about 5 months she was able to fully regain her balance and plucked up the courage to conquer several hills in our area. I really felt like she needed adult help/support. This year I wanted to get my 2.5 year old a bike toy for Christmas this year but I couldn't decide what to get him.
