We need to charge our iphone and android phone in the car. I tried connecting a USB hub to our single port charger, but the hub would not charge the iPhone at all. This Maxboost Dual Port Charger charges iPhone through the top port and Android through each port. I had some trouble figuring out which path is "up" since the charger is obviously rotating. I realized I need to pull out the charger and see where the word Maxboost is printed - that's the top. A better design would be if they put an arrow or a word on the flat face where the ports are located. This charger is great for charging both phones at the same time, and the backlit ports are helpful.
