I am very happy with my large Simax glass pan. It was worth waiting for it to be back in stock. The pan is quite thin and delicate, so I handle it very carefully. It's definitely NOT Pyrex. I'm amazed he managed to get to my house without breaking. The seller has packed well. The first time I baked I oiled the pan heavily because I was afraid the cake would stick. Luckily he slipped out. Next time I will try the canola oil spray. The pastries turned out beautiful and even too much. However, I'll have to play around with temperature and time a bit to figure out what works best. I have no doubt that with some edible experimentation I will find the perfect balance. As an added bonus, the pan itself looks gorgeous. If I could change something, I'd like it to be a little heavier so I don't have to worry so much about it breaking. Since this is the only large glass pan I've found, I'll take it and be thankful! Maybe the manufacturer can make something new, quirky for us to enjoy in the future? I would love it.
