I have fairly long hair - some call it medium length, others say it could be classified as 'long'. In any case, I have been using curling irons for many years and have always managed to curl my hair very well. I was looking for one with a big barrel to get big curls and was hoping this one would do the job. However, I have never found a curling iron device as obscure as this one. It gets hot enough to burn your flesh but doesn't frizz. The hair doesn't "curl" even a little. Even putting a few strands in it didn't do anything. I can't figure out how a keg can get hot enough to burn flesh without frizzing a single hair, but this item does just that. Return it for a refund because IT'S FREE.
