I used this to make a new backstay for my project boat, a 30 foot Pearson Flyer fractional racing sailboat. Using cascading blocks I used one end as is and spliced the block and saw through. I also made a soft brace from leftovers. The line is inexpensive, insanely strong and easy to splice. The SK75 variety is more convenient, but strong enough for my purposes. Fantastic material. Replaces heavy and expensive wire rope for many applications. The line I received was in good condition and I could not find any problems. The stainless steel eyes were well sealed and spliced. Definitely a high value.
