Review on YAMAHA AVENTAGE 7 2 Channel Receiver MusicCast by Nicole Jones

This is my fourth Yamaha receiver but my first in years. Like all my Yamaha receivers, it delivers great sound, but the addition of Dolby Atmos is a big upgrade. This is my first HDMI input, which makes it more convenient than setting up systems to put the sound and picture on the TV separately - it's all through the receiver now. It's also my first with built-in network and streaming sources - I previously connected Alexa to an auxiliary input. Although I see from the reviews that some users are dissatisfied with losing the previous application, they have no experience of managing it through phone applications. I am very happy with the features available in the MusicCast app that allow me to remotely turn on the main and/or satellite speakers and adjust the input. Of course there are many ways to improve this, but for now I'm glad I can do it at all. The regular remote is somewhat limited by the need to scroll through items like inputs and programs, but it works well. I use the MusicCast app more often.
