I've only had this car battery tester for a week and used it once. I bought it to test my own car battery without going to my local auto parts store or body shop and relying on their results and feeling obligated to buy their battery. Yes, I know I could go to auto parts and ask them to check my battery, but none of the local auto parts stores sell the retro battery I wanted to buy for my 50 year old muscle car. The tester turned out to be a quality product and delivered the expected results. It was easy to use and the results were clear. There are cheaper testers and higher quality devices out there, but this battery tester was exactly what I needed and did two things I wanted to do: First, it told me if my battery needed replacing and told me my charging system was working properly. . I'm glad I made this purchase and I recommend it to general home users and small auto repair shops.
