I used an 8mm MC4 solar adapter cable to charge the Goal Zero Yeti using a standard 100w solar panel at our family camp. We used to use portable power supplies and transfer them from the charging station to the sockets for the LED lights. This summer I wired everything together to connect to the Yeti and ran a solar panel cable to the central location where the Yeti was stored. Entry. It can also be expanded by adding batteries on both sides. We use Yeti to power all of the camp's LED lights and charge cell phones. After being used all night, the Yeti will be fully charged by noon on a sunny day. The 8mm adapter cable saved me a lot of time. Without them I would have to create my own cable. This made it easier to connect the solar panel.
