Review on Airaid AIR 300 259 300 259 Intake System by Jason Dennis

I installed this item on my 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 with 5.9L Cummins Turbo Diesel engine. Previously, the only performance items on the truck were an Edge with a CS power regulator and a K&N air filter. Installation was very easy and took about 45 minutes. It was reading the instructions between each step. I've already watched the installation video on YouTube, so the installation is a bit easier. The parts diagram in the instructions is very small and the screw that fits into the radiator bracket was misaligned and those are the only issues I had. After installation, the turbo is definitely noticeable in the cockpit, but not annoying. I haven't noticed a huge boost in performance (the Edge has already taken care of that), but after a day and a half of driving I've already noticed a 2mpg increase in the overhead console. That's why I bought this product, so mission accomplished. If you are considering purchasing this product I would also recommend purchasing a pre-filter that mounts above the air filter. With this setting, your air filter is more vulnerable to water getting in, so the pre-filter keeps it out.
