Review on Wi-Fi router TP-LINK Archer C54, black by Ada Niemirka ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I am dissatisfied with the product, there are no positive qualities.

In all honesty, this is just a basic router with two bands and nothing else; but, for the vast majority of people in 2022, this will be plenty, and all they will need to do is plug it in and forget about it. However, for the sake of this, you will need to pay 1,500. this seems unlikely. About the deep settings, it is a full tragedy here; I was unable to comprehend the reason why port forwarding did not work under any circumstances; restoring the device to its factory settings was also of no assistance. The Internet connection appears to be customized to function with the majority of service providers, however it will not operate with manual settings. It is unclear what the reasons and circumstances are that have led to a speed reduction of 50/40 percent across both wired and wireless networks. In a nutshell, this router is overpriced for just having two bands, and any router up to 900 will be significantly more stable and functional than this one.

Pros
  • Compact, with two ranges.
Cons
  • - inexpensive plastic housing; - fixed antennae; - limited capability of the firmware; - only one function is advertised to be operational, but in reality only half of it does; — finished off with a truncated patch cord in two different pairings; - reduces the speed by a factor of two on both the local area network and the wireless network; the speed in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands is the same, roughly 50–60 Mb/s;
