Review on 🔵 BURCAM 300506S 1/6HP Automatic Submersible Utility Pump - Black/Blue by Damian Lousteau

This pump is probably good for something, but I wouldn't recommend it for use if you want to set it up and forget it; You know the whole purpose of an automatic on/off function. Very seldom has it actually worked properly and at the moment it just hums loudly and doesn't move the water. Be careful how low you set it. I have a 25ft garden hose with about a 6ft head and a 0.5psi check valve (doesn't open the 1/2lb spring check valve) and it barely works. I think it burned out after a very short period of use. I think this would work fine for covering a pool or something with a large area, but in a 20" pit, even with a check valve on top of the pump, it basically lets enough water through after work so almost no water is present had to jump. I would strongly recommend considering a different pump. This thing just gave me a headache.
