Review on Softener Electronic Original Equipment Manufacturer by James Lesley

I've had four homes over the last 35 years and they all had variants of the same water softener and they have served me well. This is the first control board failure and the last two photos show corrosion and salt on the underside of the board. All the switches on the bottom of the board had stopped working so maybe if I cleaned the old board really well it would bring it back to life. If it happens again I will definitely give it a try before I spend my hard earned money. I'm always interested in what I'm buying, so the photos of what was in the box. Interestingly, the description says it's a Kenmore part, but the instructions are for six different hot tub models. I have one of the whirlpool models. The instructions were easy to follow and he was back on board in less than 10 minutes. Highly recommended!
