Installed on Nissan Murano. Because the intake and exhaust ports are in the same relative position, this was a quick and inexpensive replacement ($125 installation fee at your local muffler shop). The manufacturer's original muffler made the engine sound empty and limp. This muffler is much smaller than the Original Equipment bin so it hides better under the bumper. This muffler has a freer flow with less sound absorption. This muffler paired with a powerful V6 sounds great! That's not at all what the Civic is trying to sound like a stock car. It's more of a custom sound than unlimited volume. When you start, it comes to life. When idling, you can hear a but barely perceptible gurgling. Under normal acceleration, the sound is pleasantly deep, but not loud or obnoxious. However, to get attention, step on the gas and he'll bark! FYI, this muffler was previously fitted to the V6 Camero. If you are on YouTube "Murano Flowmaster" you can hear the results. For less than a hundred dollars, this is a great upgrade. UPDATE: I've had it for 3 years now and it's holding up well. There is rust on the welds, but nothing rusted. I realize I should have coated the muffler with black high temp paint to protect the welds from harsh DC weather.
