Despite some bad reviews on this product I love it! Yes the timer goes dark after a few seconds (or a minute?) and the first time this happened I thought I had lost the time set! However, dimming the screen saves battery power. It's still readable and I have no problem with it. It is very comfortable! I was using the iPhone timer/alarm and it was just annoying. Especially if I just needed to calculate something in a minute or less. And having 3 timers is awesome! It's easy to set how long you want. Alarm 1 will sound 1 beep, Alarm 2 will have double beeps and Alarm 3 will have triple beeps so you can tell the difference.
