This rug was a disappointment. It is the right size as ordered and the cat print is adorable. However, it is very thin and not absorbent at all. In fact, it is felted with a printed pattern on a rubber base. Walking on it, even if you intentionally wipe your feet on it, will NOT prevent the dirt from the bottom foot from getting into the house. It is NOT suitable as a doormat at the front of the house - it has been moved to another location and is now used as a doormat. As a carpet, the quality was really lacking. I was expecting to find something like this at a flea market for $5 and then haggle down to $4. - it was too, too expensive for what I got. If you want a cute little rug and don't mind paying a little more for an adorable print, this works great. If you are looking for a rug, this is not the best option.
