I loved this frother when I first got it. It perfectly warmed and frothed milk and was easy to wash. There were a few minor issues (min/max marks were faint, he turned off the heat and stirred at the same time, sometimes the milk on the bottom was overcooked due to decanting), but overall the machine exceeded all expectations. A month later I noticed a black residue in the frothing nozzle. It was located in the mounting point of the mount. I wiped it off with a paper towel, but more came back after each run. The nozzle started to make a lot of noise when stirring and a month later it wasn't moving at all. As far as I can tell, the constant rotation has worn down the plastic in the nozzle, causing it to sink lower and eventually sinking to the bottom of the container. Up to this point I had only used the whisk attachment, so I switched and tried the mixer instead. The same has already happened. As much as I love it, I really can't recommend it. The lifespan of whisks is from 2 to 300 cycles, which is not very long for such a price. And this plastic that wears out. Many of them are probably deposited as microparticles in the milk.
