My daughter changed four pairs of shoes in her freshman year, not because her feet grew four sizes, but because she changed toes on each one. I think she must have been crawling for most of the day or so as the leather wore out and the shoes became unusable as they were no longer waterproof. I had rubber soled shoes but they weren't high enough to help and while the patent leather shoes held up best, they weren't perfect. My children often wear shoes with socks, which are good for wide feet and very comfortable. When I saw them with such high rubber fronts, I thought they were perfect. She loves them, she likes the little bow and they are obviously comfortable. Time will tell how stable they are and if they don't live up to my high expectations I'll edit this review. But pediped have great shoes and I hope they don't let the team down!
