Review on 11Bright 🔥 Multifunctional Soldering Absorber Extractor by Jake Davies

This product was well packaged and I had high hopes of sticking it on my desk forever to use for hobby painting. The lamp is attached to the bracket with a sliding nut; The nut is inserted into the slot on the bracket, aligned with the screw hole in the bracket, and then held in place by inserting the screw through the bracket into the slide nut. I had a few issues with this product: 1. You can insert the sliding nut into either of the two slots on the bracket, allowing you to mount it from either the top or the side. The lamp I received had the top bracket misaligned and was unable to insert the set screw through the hole in the slide nut.2. The bracket has a long bolt with a soft metal wing nut that must be tightened to secure the bracket to the surface on which you are mounting the flashlight. Since the clamp screw is soft metal and not a snug fit on the clamp itself, the entire mount will move STRONGLY when pressed against the surface. This makes the lamp extremely unstable.3. The lamp arm expands and compresses but does not rotate. This means that you cannot turn the lamp head at all without loosening the screws; only the light/magnifier head moves in any direction other than forward/backward. Overall, the product I received was basically useless. I liked the fact that the lamp used a USB charger and when I turned it on it was quite bright - I just couldn't use it because the stand and all the mounting hardware was such rubbish.
