Review on π§ Dorman 74014 Clutch Pedal Bushing: Enhanced Performance for Compatible Models by Eric Wohlman
A costly fix for a poorly designed part.
My 1999 Jeep TJ uses this plastic clip on the pivot of the clutch pedal to the slave cylinder which holds it together and acts as a bushing and locking clip in one. Mine lasted 22 years so maybe better than expected for such a thin plastic clip but a nylon sleeve and electronic clip would still be solid.
