Inaccurate clutch repair. Worked great.

My 98 TJ daughter had a sluggish clutch pedal. That fixed it well. A little awkward to assemble due to the location, but worth it. It turns out she's actually better with the cane than I thought. This clutch is just clumsy. No more idiots.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Fits

Broke right away. ford super dut 2000 trans zf6.

2000 F550 Tow Truck with ZF6 Transmission. This part broke on the first ride. Maybe 6-7 clicks on the clutch pedal. My old one, which had been broken for a while, stayed even when it was broken. This part broke and the rod to the cylinder immediately slipped off the clutch pedal. Quite dangerous.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Lightly dented

A costly fix for a poorly designed part.

My 1999 Jeep TJ uses this plastic clip on the pivot of the clutch pedal to the slave cylinder which holds it together and acts as a bushing and locking clip in one. Mine lasted 22 years so maybe better than expected for such a thin plastic clip but a nylon sleeve and electronic clip would still be solid.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • New competitors are here

waste of money. Broke after 3 weeks. Not even my daily driver.

I don't think this part has done 100 miles for me. Tomorrow I'm picking up OEM for $1.95 at Ford Parts at STL. I see a lot of positives here, but I'm definitely not lucky. No troll, just information for everyone. If Ford does the same to me then I'll see if I can come over here and upgrade it. Let's hope I don't have to. Ford OEM number 6C3Z7A581A

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Fits my 2001 Jeep Wrangler TJ perfectly!

Fixed clutch on my 2001 Jeep Wrangler TJ! I ordered a Mopar part for a Jeep from two different suppliers and they sent me the wrong part. It looked exactly like the broken part so I took a chance and ordered it. When I received it I compared it to the broken one and found they were identical except the new one didn't fall apart. So much for the Mopar part numbers that solve this problem for me. I am ordering two more as spares, one for me and one for my jeep friends! Thanks very much!

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel

I thought I would save money and gas if I bought this clutch pedal bushing for my 2001 Ford F350 AND A BIG MISTAKE. Installation is very easy and takes less than 5 minutes. First you need to attach the sleeve to the end of the clutch master cylinder rod and then put the pedal on until it clicks and the pedal will instantly become more sensitive. However, that is where the good ends. Just a week later the new bushing burst and the pedal came loose again. I checked and it was still installed but…
