Full surface weighing platform is a really nice feature. The scale is somewhat sensitive to touch, but as long as it's placed on a very hard, flat surface, it stabilizes quickly. Sitting on a towel or tablecloth is not good. It is important that all feet are placed upright on a solid surface (quartz, granite, etc.) that is clean and free of surface defects or any dirt, crumbs or similar debris. The calibration feature is a plus, but I no longer have access to determine how good the 500g caliber is (same manufacturer, no scale).
