Pretty nice lights, very bright and easy to install. They are plastic with a good seal to fit the mounting surface. You don't need instructions. That's it: you need to drill 2 holes. 1 small one for the screw that goes through the colored lens, through the plastic case and into the mounting surface. The supplied screws are unnecessary and will break if you are careless. The second hole is for the wires and the plastic tab helps keep the light from spinning. It's pretty easy if you have a basic electrical/mechanical understanding. I will update my review if they fail or not.
