Review on Lighter Rechargeable Electric Flameless Camping by Elliotte Rogers

I'm not sure if this is normal or not. I've never bought a lighter like this before. But I've only used this lighter 4 times just to light candles and I've strictly followed all the instructions. Today I noticed that the plastic part around the metal pins is starting to melt which is a bit concerning. I would like to get an answer from the manufacturers on this. I hope this will not pose a threat in the future. 3 star rating because it works and is everything I expected, but I'm not sure how safe it is.
