These are the juiciest pens I've ever written with. It feels like you're painting with it, even though the tips of the brushes are NOT bristles. Yes, ink falls unevenly on a pair of pens from a set. Yes, everyone is different. feels different, behaves differently. Yes, they take a long time to dry. If you're left-handed like me, just be prepared to have some of that ink gracing your left hand unless you take extra precautions, like washing your hands. written (that's what I chose; either that or using my left pinky to balance my hand on my writing). Sounds like pain? Yes that could be. IF these pens weren't so damn SATISFYING! They're not for everyone. The tips are thick and beginners will likely have a hard time getting a fine line. Some colors don't even look metallic when dry (ruby in particular looks more like chalk on black paper when it dries). All of this can be a bummer. They may even discourage you from buying them. But I LOVE using them. It's so satisfying to watch the ink flow into beautiful, stunning lettering. I had no problems with them, they seemed practically dry as some reviews say. I don't write anything that SHOULD look that great. And if that describes your hand lettering as well, it costs $12 plus change (at the time of this review) just to feel that calm and serenity as the ink flows from pen to paper. They are super cool and I love the entire Kelly Creates line. So much intention and thought has gone into every element I've used to date. Go and order. You'll have fun, I almost guarantee it!
