Bought about a month ago. It's only about 65% of the OEM cost and since it's made by Hitachi I figured it must be good. I have a 2000 Buick Park Avenue with a 3800 Series 2 engine. I bought it in 2007 and it had 84,000 miles on it, it only has 103,000 miles in 9 years of ownership so I haven't driven it much and I drive mostly around town and normally get an average of 15-16 miles per gallon of gas. The car ran decent and one day my 'service engine' light came on and I started having serious power loss and hesitation issues and generally it was just crap work and the fuel economy was down to around 12-13mpg. I had to disable the MAF so it could take me anywhere. After installing the new MAF I could immediately tell that the engine ran better and smoother than it had ever had when I had the car. No more problems and my mileage after using 2 tanks of gas is up to 20-21mpg. All of this makes me very happy and I would recommend if you need to replace the MAF consider the Hitachi production option, I don't think you'll regret it.
