Solid replacement OEM

MAF failed on two cars at about the same time. First 02 Lesabre and then 04 Impala. Bought a Denso for $300 from a local store! Found this after 5 minutes. πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™‚οΈI kept it in the basket just in case. When my Impala started acting like crazy, another shop diagnosed bad ICM, coils, connectors and wires. And they wanted 1400 to do it. Needless to say, I told them to kick the sand and hobble home. Replaced everything and did not fix the non-boot/die state. Maf turned off - it started, plugged it…

My problem solved!: Sensors

For weeks I have been struggling with idle problems with my 2000 Impala. Eventually the check engine light came on and I was able to get a low signal P0102 MAF code using my scanner. First I tried cleaning it with a DMRV cleaner, it didn't help. Then I tried a really cheap one from a big auction house but it didn't idle. The car will not start without pressing the gas pedal. So I ordered it from a large car dealership, since it is priced somewhere between cheap and expensive (obsolete!). I…

Do you need a new air mass meter?

I decided to order this Hitachi MAF0047 to replace my 2005 Buick LeSabre because the one it replaced was also the same brand. I'm so glad I did and would recommend this particular sensor to anyone who needs it. While I wasn't sure if I needed to replace the mass air flow sensor or some other part, it was obvious my problem was fuel delivery. Did a little research on the internet. Most who described the symptoms I was having (engine revs but stalled immediately, strong smell of gasoline, black…

Great product at an amazing price.

Bought about a month ago. It's only about 65% of the OEM cost and since it's made by Hitachi I figured it must be good. I have a 2000 Buick Park Avenue with a 3800 Series 2 engine. I bought it in 2007 and it had 84,000 miles on it, it only has 103,000 miles in 9 years of ownership so I haven't driven it much and I drive mostly around town and normally get an average of 15-16 miles per gallon of gas. The car ran decent and one day my 'service engine' light came on and I started having serious…

THAT'S THAT YES ! - Mass Airflow

I bought this part for my 2001 Buick Regal LSE after messing around with code P0171 and one day I got P0132 (low voltage on mass airflow sensor). I started splashing while accelerating and accidentally shutting off the engine. My car is 148k and has been well maintained but these issues have bothered me. I replaced the fuel filter (much expired) which was dirty (lesson learned), I replaced the "bank 1" sensor; and FINALLY found an intake leak 'after the MAF sensor but still had a 'chuff' and…

  • Great for me

2002 Buick LeSabre for Mass Air Flow

After almost 100,000 miles I had the MAF code. I don't drive very far or fast so I cleaned it up and left it for a few months. Nothing looked broken, but cleaning only briefly turned off the check engine light. I trust the Japanese part of everything Chinese, especially the sensor. From the looks of it, this car could even be an OEM. Cheaper than the AC Delco counterpart, but not the cheapest either. Anyway, I installed it, dived a few miles, and the light hasn't come on since. Drives great. No

Pros
  • Rugged finish
Cons
  • The list will go on.
