I recently purchased this for my car and it has worked great. It holds the phone well, good dimensions, easy to move around etc. It got a little weird with the heat but I thought it was just some weird joints. Well, one winter it just fell out while I was driving. Tried reinstalling it but to the bone. Upon closer inspection, the rubber on the vent handle has literally melted! It wasn't illusion or my drama; The rubber (or whatever the material was) warped and warped, losing all of its burrs and becoming a lumpy, flat mess. I think it was probably the heat from the vents that caused this. However, that's pretty pathetic for something that needs to be placed in a car's air vents!
