As a former rocket engineer I have experience bending rigid tubes. The unit I received had the curves kinked making the unit about 1/2 inch shorter than it should have been. Installation is tricky, but not impossible if you can thread a thread through each end and then alternately tighten each nut. After warming up a few times, it accepts the kit and works well. You will need a 1-1/16 crow's foot wrench to replace this pipe on an installed 5.0 V8. Most tool stores don't have this size, so order a wrench now so you don't have to wait another week for a wrench.
