Just what you need for your APEC reverse osmosis water filtration system. Once every 6 months Some people wait a year, maybe it's possible in some places but not here in New York. You can open levels 1-3 at any time and check their color/soil level. After about 6 months our water level slowed down. clearly, and then stopped altogether. When I opened the first 3 stages there was BROWN DIRT/rust/slime all over the filter. Filters do what they were designed to do. I could swallow it, but thanks to these amazing filters and system, I don't. Trust me at the 6 month mark. You will be surprised.
- 1st stage: 5 micron polypropylene sediment filter to remove dust, particles and rust
