Bought for stuffing stockings and wasn't impressed. It was cool how it was so compact and opened at the push of a button, but that's where the good ends. It is a very thin metal that twists in a spiral to form a rod that tapers along the way. It doesn't close easily at all. We have tried many times to bring it back to a compact size with the help of the instructions and so far it has not been possible. My husband managed to get a deep cut on his palm with a sharp edge on the underside. A gift that bites. I ordered two silver and received one silver and one gold instead. Both only have color at the very end, everything else is gray.
