Review on 🔌 500W BESTEK Pure Sine Wave Power Inverter DC 12V to 110V AC Car Plug Adapter Converter with Dual USB Ports, 2 AC Outlets, Car Charger - ETL Listed (Blue) by Terrance Singletary

My first 500w Bestek pure sine wave inverter was installed in January and plugged directly into a 2000w Xantrex inverter charger. The Bestek's fan turns on immediately after it is turned on, and the only appliance I connected to the unit was a dorm compressor fridge, which draws 84 watts when it starts up. Bestek quickly flashed a red warning light and the device shut down. I couldn't get it to work after several attempts to turn on the fridge and sent the unit back after contacting Revain about the issue. A replacement was shipped promptly and this unit appeared to work properly (again using a fridge as the ONLY power requirement). However, the following days showed that the 500w inverter would only run for 6-10 hours at a time before shutting down - Bestek rep I spoke to him on the phone, diagnosed the overheating issue and advised me to switch off the unit to send them back and send the documentation to his email address for a refund as this was my second mistake with an identical product limited to replacing the product supplied by Revain. Perhaps I should have reported the problem through Revain and to my electrician a second time. didn't cost me a SQUAT.
