These bulbs are needed for my bathroom and I hate them. I'm almost willing to spend money to replace the light so I don't have to use halogen bulbs. When they work properly they last a long time and give good light, but when they don't work I change them all the time. . Do not touch the bulb with your skin when replacing it. I always use a paper towel between my fingers and the light bulb very gently, but often I have to change the same light bulb two or three times in a few weeks before it stops burning out.
