Review on πŸͺ„ Semogue 1438: A Premium Bristle Shaving Brush for a Luxurious Grooming Experience by Tyra Smith

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Better than my best badger.

When I first started shaving with a conventional safety razor a year ago, I figured a more expensive badger brush would be a better option. I bought a good mid-range Badger for about $40 and it has worked great for creams and bowl foam. When I discovered bar soap and facial foam, I knew I needed something more thorough. I've browsed sites like Badger and Blade and read a lot of good things about Semogue. This very inexpensive boar brush is fantastic! It's tough enough to grind hard soap, but still soft when you lather your face (after it breaks). It took me about 1.5 weeks to get used to it, now this is the only brush I use. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Handmade in Portugal.
Cons
