Review on 🚘 ARANA Front Hood Struts Lift Supports/Gas Spring Shocks for 1999-2005 Porsche 911 & 1997-2004 Boxster – 2 Pcs by Vladimir Castillo

The struts effectively keep the hood upright. However, they make a grinding noise when the hood is raised or lowered. Installation was not as easy as advertised. The groove under each spring clip was not deep enough to insert a flat blade screwdriver as directed to relieve pressure. To expand the spring clip, circlip pliers had to be inserted into the socket, then a screwdriver could be inserted under the rack spring clip and installed according to the instructions. In the future, to remove the racks, the spring clamps will have to be cut off, since the groove under the spring clamp will not fit with a screwdriver to relieve the pressure of the spring clamp.
