Review on 📷 Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM Lens – New White Box Version by Chelsea Collins

This is a great all round lens that delivers excellent image quality at all focal lengths. I have a Canon 77d and a Canon Rebel T6 plus a couple of prime lenses. Now I will keep the old 18-55mm on the T6 as a backup and use this 18-135mm as the primary lens on my 77d. When needed for lower apertures I can always use my 35mm or 50mm lens. The first thing I noticed about this lens is the significantly higher weight. I knew it would be a bit heavier but was surprised at how much heavier it is than the 18-55mm lens. The autofocus is fast and since I don't use my camera for video, I can't comment on the lens for that. At the same time I ordered the lens I also ordered the 67mm UV filter and lens hood and both arrived a day earlier than the lens which worked great. The lens locking mechanism only works when the lens is in the 18mm position, although I wish it would work in other positions like 35mm or 50mm, but it is and I'm not complaining. Image stabilization is excellent and works as it should, even at 135mm where lens and camera shake are usually noticeable. She worked great. A great investment for the price!
