Sturdy and reliable. If you are a beginner this is a great option. However, if you have good racquets and have played real shuttlecocks for $2.50 each, you can easily see how different this shuttlecock is from others. The feather shuttlecock has a different flight and speed variation. You can't practice drop or slice well with this shuttlecock. Of course you can still practice them, but in competitions you lose immediately if you use feather flounces. If you're an amateur player, I think a shuttlecock like this will easily last two years.
