YONEX Mavis 🏸 2000 Tournament Nylon Championship Shuttlecocks Review

This may be my preference but I really like feathers more than nylon cocks. At the same time, they seem pretty decent. We had a break after the first day, but it didn't affect the flight.

They are excellent. Much better than the ones in our set. They have a cork center and are very strong and durable. Easy to store in a cylindrical container. Excellent quality and price.

We recently bought a badminton set for our backyard. Included was a standard set of shuttlecocks. They broke the same day. I wanted shuttlecocks that would last a long time and withstand the abuse of 4 boys. That's great. They have been through many bumps and are still like new. I have highly recommended them to everyone.

Beautiful birds. We were beating up our birds so I was glad to get a few more. They fly quite well, I think they're a bit lighter if you use them outdoors, but they fly higher and better than the cheap ones that come with our landing net. If you ever want to shoot at night I would also recommend the LED cameras, they use real looking feathers.

This thing is great, it's the nicest plastic shuttlecock I've ever used. It still doesn't quite match the feel of a feather shuttlecock, but it's definitely close. The hits are good and the durability brings this to the fore. With regular use of one of these frills, you can probably last about 3 weeks. And compared to cheaper shuttlecocks, these Yonex Mavis 2000 simply have much better ease of use, control and power. Be sure to take these with you.

Sturdy and reliable. If you are a beginner this is a great option. However, if you have good racquets and have played real shuttlecocks for $2.50 each, you can easily see how different this shuttlecock is from others. The feather shuttlecock has a different flight and speed variation. You can't practice drop or slice well with this shuttlecock.
