So far so good - my new review
Appears to be fire-resistant (watch video). Now I only used a household lighter and it did not burn. But not sure if will hold up to higher heat over 1,000 degrees for any length of time. Just the same, the lock works well and the whole bag is very sturdy.

- If the bag is submerged in water for too long, it may still become damaged
