So I wanted to make sure to try them out for hiking as my last pair of north facing hiking sandals did so for almost six years before the buckle broke. I bought them last summer but wore them around the house more than on camping trips. They've never been as comfortable as my north face and when I wear them for long periods of time they cause blisters on my legs where they rub and don't fit well anywhere the straps wrap around my leg. That's enough for me to often go barefoot, which I never did before buying these sandals. Thanks to Covid-19 I am at home more often and use sandals in the fields around my house. No rough terrain. My feet are blistering again and this has never happened with my North Face sandals and today I had a 1/8" x 2" branch from a branch that went right through the Camel Crown sandals right next to the logo at the bottom of the sandals in the center of the arch where it looks like the logo is just affixed to cheap foam. There is nothing there that can withstand a puncture and they advertise that they are good for hiking. If I hadn't been close to home and camped on the trail, such an injury could have prevented the person from ever returning home. Either an infection or an injury that could take the hiker out into the wilderness. This product is hardly good enough for shower shoes, don't buy them for anything more permanent than a shower or rug and they should NOT be in your walking sandal search, they are pure rubbish!
