No instructions included. It appears to be thinner plastic than the previous cover. After watching a lot of YouTube videos I realized that my setup needs to be different. When my son installed the entire skylight, he didn't use the inside. Instead he did some fancy woodwork. So I couldn't take the screen off. Rivets drilled out of the new one. I removed the screws and a piece of metal from the old one. After I put the new cover on the skylight hinge, I put it on the new one and voila! Did. I think this method is easier than removing the whole assembly. And yes, they should make them with screws, not rivets. Although the purchase for this money is excellent!
