The phone holder fits in the cup holder on my 2013 Honda Ridgeline; It holds the phone securely and in a position where I can see it. The phone stays in place (doesn't turn over) when I touch the phone's screen. I have no plans to remove the phone mount from this car and now that it is in place I am confident it will hold up for years to come. My caveat with the phone mount is that it doesn't "feel" very strong, so repeated movement (moving from one car to another) will wear it down. But once you set it up and leave it alone, it's a good phone mount.
