This is a beautiful light. I love it! My suggestion is that you have two people to set it up and both of you on a step stool. This is a very heavy flashlight and needs to be secured properly. It's not that heavy, but it's very heavy and needs to be screwed into the top of the light box. If you have an older home this can be a problem as it may not match. I would suggest that you measure the black base that screws into the ceiling and make sure your screws match those on the ceiling. We needed washers to keep the bolts from coming out, so keep all of that in mind before you lift this heavy contraption. We had to trim the drywall down a bit because the base is wide. Just take your time, but the end result is worth it. I painted the little wire nut caps white so I didn't see the yellow ones through the light itself. Do this before hanging the crystals. The light changes color every time you turn it on when using the remote control but not when using the switch. The fan is very quiet and very efficient. The fan blades are already installed at the factory before you send it out. The box was packed very well which is good because the box was badly dented but nothing was damaged. Inside the styrofoam are three crystals, you absolutely need one of them. I had two extra after taking three out of the styrofoam. The company emailed me right after the light with a link to a YouTube video which was very helpful. My video had no sound but it helped the electrician get an overview of what we were doing. I was missing a screw but was able to find a working one. I highly recommend this flashlight.
