The device works as advertised with Windows 10. This point seemed unclear in some earlier test reports. The quality depends primarily on the quality of the tapes themselves and the player. Not as much. The software lacks many of the controls I'm used to from programs like Camtasia. The controls are pretty basic, so if you need to clean up your audio track or do a lot of detailed editing, you might need a more expensive editing software package. This hardware does what it says on the tin and the editing is up to you, either with the included version of the 2004 Arcsoft editor or a better product.
