Review on 🍷 Vinturi Black Red Wine Aerator with Base for Enhanced Flavors and Silky Finish by Oso Mears

Bought this when I was starting to drink more wine. I tried to help my taste buds with red wines. It really works and really makes a difference. Takes some of the "bite" out of most wines. The device itself is attractive, compact and solidly built. It appears to be a simple oblong Plexiglas "funnel" with a rubber grip. There are two small channels in the center of the funnel that look like "cracks" in the plastic (I've read product information reassuring concerned buyers that these cracks are correct and inevitable). Wine is poured through the top of the funnel and a suction sound is immediately heard as air is drawn into the wine before it leaves the bottom of the funnel. The aerator is easy to hold and I've never had a problem with spills. Now for the "effect" of Winturi. I've been using Vinturi for various wines for 6 months now. In any case, I have noticed a significant improvement in wine quality with each wine when bottled through the Vinturi as opposed to tasting straight from the bottle. The flavors are more blended, the aftertaste is less acidic, and to be honest it has made most of the wines I drink more enjoyable from inhalation to sip. I've done a few blind taste tests with friends and we all agree this stuff works. If you are a serious wine drinker or looking for the wine lover of a lifetime, give this product a try. At $40, that's about the price of a decent California Cabernet, and it will continue to bear fruit for decades to come. I plan to collect a few dozen this Christmas and give them as gifts to friends and family.
