Review on πŸš— Professional-grade POLYTE Foam Detailing Applicator Pad, Yellow (8 Pack, 4.3 in): Enhance Your Car's Shine with Ease! by James Crofton

Decent pads, thick and useful for detailing

When I bought these (July 2020) I paid almost $10 for a pack of 8. Prices have fluctuated up and down, now (November 2020) it's around $9. U.S. DOLLAR. I think the price was reasonable and I'm happy with my purchase. I could save money if I bought a bigger pack or went with another seller - but let's be honest, unless you're interested in auto repairs, if I buy 8 of these I'll last years. Especially since I wash mine and reuse it instead of just tossing it in the trash and sending it to the landfill. The only *REAL* thing you really need to know is that they're super cheap and wear out fast? NO - they don't. They are of decent quality and will hold up pretty well if you use them wisely. How can I use them? I use them to apply protectant to the inner vinyl and liquid wax to the outer vinyl. I sometimes use them to apply conditioner to leather seats. I also use them to smooth out Carnuba, but I use a buffer/buffer with my own foam pad to rub it in. I've used them in the past too. They hold up great for a foam pad. Depending on specific use, a pad will typically last around 8-10 cycles of use (use, then clean with soap/degreaser, then reuse). For the price paid I would recommend this product to anyone doing household chores like me. Or if you are just starting your own detailing business. Otherwise I would look for larger packages if you are serious about making money. Just be careful as there are many foam pads out there that are crap and intended for single use only. However, they are decent and can last a while before needing to be thrown away.
