Review on ASRock X570 Pro 4 - Advanced AM4/4DDR4/HDMI/DP/ATX Motherboard for Optimal Performance by Adam Wawrzyski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I do not cease to rejoice at the purchase, a very good deal!

My first attempt at putting together a computer. Regarding accoutrements: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X OEM video card asus nvidia geforce rtx 2070 dual-rtx2070-o8g-evo Mat. pay: ASRock X570 Pro4 HyperX Fury HX432C16FB3K2/32 is the RAM in question. SSD: ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro 512GB Deepcool GAMMAXX GT TGA is the cooler for the processor. HDD: Western Digital WD10EZEX Power Supply: Speak up if you can! System Power 9 700W Frame: Zalman i3 However, when the computer was turned on, the indications for the CPU and DRAM on the board lit up in red. Everything was correctly installed and assembled in the case, but there was a problem. After that, he powered down himself, switched himself back on (which caused the indicators to disappear), and offered to enter the BIOS. Although the RAM should have been identified as DDR4-3200 in the BIOS settings, it was defined as DDR4-2400 instead. In response to an increase in voltage (from 1.2 to 1.35 volts) and a change in frequency (from 2400 to 3200 hertz), the computer repeatedly restarted itself but refused to accept the new frequency setting. After reviewing the accompanying literature, it was discovered that in order to ensure proper operation, the memory sticks should initially be inserted into slots A2 and B2. After that, I just selected XMP profiles for the 3200 frequency, and there is no need to worry about this issue again. Since the welcome window in the BIOS stalls for such a significant amount of time, I have not been able to figure out how to accelerate the process by which the computer boots up. The whole experience of putting together the board left a positive impression; the one exception is that the documentation for it needs to be read in English because it contains additional information in that language.

Pros
  • System of cooling that is integrated There are two M2 connectors, and one of them already has a heatsink attached to it. Possibility to add wi-fi Component failure color indicators
Cons
  • There is still some work to be done on the BIOS in 2022. Documentation for the board that is included in the package is not completely localized into 2022 Certainly not the most obvious setting for a bios. I didn't instantly purchase the RAM that had a frequency of 3200; instead, I had to raise it manually from 2400 to 3200 (more on that below).
