Not for the original Hunter fan!
The description of this item states that this is a genuine Hunter fan with threads on both ends. This item is not suitable for the original Hunter as it is lighter metal than the original Hunter stem and is only threaded on one end instead of both ends which would make it cheaper for Hunter fans than the original more expensive stem Fan.
