Review on Blackwing One Step Long Point Sharpener by Linda Diaz

I was willing to stop paying for plastic sharpeners. I currently have at least 6 that are broken. I saw this BLACKWING and at least WOW! Now it looks solid! At first I thought I had a bad pencil, sometimes I use good quality colored pencils and I know if I drop them the lead will break and the lead will fall out when sharpened. However, I can't sharpen an old regular pencil with it :( that's the thing! 99% of the time the lead breaks. One pencil I was able to sharpen was 1/4 the size it was when I started - due to breakage. I'll come back and looking for another option Gave two stars because it looks good and feels good in hand, it just doesn't work!
