Review on πŸ”₯ Hayden Automotive 2886 High-Performance Fan Clutch by Mike Carter

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Wouldn't even turn on if my truck overheats while being towed in 81 degrees midday.

I have a 2005 Chevy Duramax that has typical overheating issues. After reading all the hype about this fan clutch and how it works faster and more accurately, it didn't even work on my first ride when I was towing my toy dump truck on an 81 degree day. The truck overheated on level ground even after I dropped it at 50 mph and the fan clutch still wouldn't engage. My original fan clutch (77,000 miles) made an obvious jet roar long before my truck overheated. This never beeped, even with the 233 ECT my edge monitor detected it. Don't think he ever did. Let's go back to the standard fan clutch.

Pros
