Review on Aquacomputer Quadro Fan Controller PWM Fans by Brandon Reid

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's very cool: Computer components

My buddy advised me to buy this because she's a super genius at PC building. So I did. At first reluctantly. But it's pretty amazing. I built my first water cooled PC and used it to power all the fans and MOST of the LEDs. The software is pretty good; The interface is pretty crude, but the possibilities of what it can do are solid. This is the most reliable controller I have ever seen. Thermal takes are total garbage. Corsair is very good. But it's much better. For example, you might have 4 touch inputs. I have 2 - ambient temperature and internal water temperature. I'm creating a "soft" (virtual) sensor that says if the ambient temperature is water_temp >= 10c then turn on the fans. It's really awesome. This is like a BASIC example. But there are many things you can add. It can monitor any hardware that sends data, such as B. Graphics card (GPU, voltage, temperature, etc.), motherboard (temperature, voltage), Ethernet, etc. Slight cons: - It limits the number of LEDs you can control with an aquacomputer up to 90 LEDs. RGBpx are external adapters for adding additional fans and RGB fans if present. It really depends on your RGB fans - if you have a Corsair LL there is no way to change the color of the inner and outer rings. . Or, if it does - I didn't understand how to do it.

Pros
  • Case fan
Cons
  • Out of fashion
